Family Dentistry Practice Offers Dentures To Restore Your Beautiful Smile

Our family dentistry practice offers a wide array of services for patients of all ages. If you are considering dentures to improve your smile, you’re not alone. According to Statista, nearly 21 million Americans wore dentures in 2020. There are many reasons you may need to replace your natural teeth. Whether you have lost teeth due to oral disease, accident or illness, Olathe Dental Care Center can help you determine whether dentures are right for you.

You may think that dentures are something that only elderly people need. Nothing is further from the truth! The fact is that people of any age may end up needing dentures. A healthy-looking smile is important for many aspects of life, including your career and personal relationships.  Don’t let the condition of your teeth keep you from sharing your smile with the world!

At Olathe Dental Care Center’s family dentistry practice, our dentists are specially trained in prosthodontics – the art and science of making full or partial dentures. As a restorative dentistry practice, we have several options available to suit your needs.

  • Complete Dentures: For patients whose natural teeth can no longer be repaired, we offer full dentures. Our doctors will expertly fit your dentures, refitting them as necessary while the bone is healing. This ensures proper placement and comfort for you.
  • Partials: Some patients are able to retain some of their natural teeth, but still need a partial to replace those that are missing or are too damaged to be repaired. Our expert staff will create a custom partial for you, blending it with your existing teeth as much as possible for a natural look.
  • Implant Retained Dentures: For those who are concerned about dentures slipping or moving around, implant retained dentures (sometimes referred to as snap-in dentures)  are a great option. With this method, dental implants are put in place which are then used to secure the dentures. The implants are permanently attached, but the dentures can still be removed by the patient for cleaning, etc. Another great benefit of implant retained dentures is that there is no need for messy gels or adhesives to attach them.
Taking care of your teeth is a vital aspect of managing your overall health. Untreated oral disease can lead to complications and illness in other areas of the body.
